It's not every day that you are thrown into the deep end of planning a wedding and everything that is required to do to bring it together.
When it comes to your wedding invitations, this is where I can help you in detail by answering your main questions or even better, provide you with questions that you probably didn't know you needed to ask.
Below are the top 10 frequently asked questions I get asked from my clients and those who are enquiring.
Q: When should I send my invitations to my guests?
A: I suggest that you send your guests their invitations approximately 3 to 4 months before your wedding. This will allow plenty of time for your guests to save the date, make arrangements and reply with their RSVP. However, you can send your invitations out sooner than this or as close as 2 months out from your wedding if you prefer.
If you are having a destination wedding we suggest sending save the dates between 6 – 12 months before your wedding so your guests can make travel arrangements and book the necessary accommodation.
Q: Do you have a minimum order quantity?
A: No, we offer you the flexibility of ordering what you need.
Q: Are envelopes included?
A: Yes all of the wedding invitations, engagement invitations, save the date cards & thank you cards include a coordinating envelope. This means a metallic shimmer envelope or a matte envelope depending on the invitation you choose.
You will not receive a standard white envelope with your order, I always make sure to match your envelope to your invitation design.
If your design requires a black or dark coloured envelope, this is all included, along with the white ink digital printing to print your guest names & addresses.
Q: How long will it take to make my invitations?
A: It generally takes between 2 – 4 weeks from the time your order is received to your invitations being shipped to you. This is based on receiving your wedding details promptly from you and all reviews and artwork changes are responded to quickly.
Once the artwork is approved and the complete guest list is received, it will take approximately 2 weeks to hand-make your invitations.
All of our invitations are handmade by the White Cherry Invitations team with love and care which takes time to ensure your invitations are perfect in every way.
Q: Can you print my guest names and addresses on our invitations and envelopes?
A: The printing of your guest details on your invitations are included with every invitation order!

All I need from you is a completed guest list template (excel spreadsheet) which I supply to you when your order is confirmed with White Cherry Invitations
Q: How do I word my invitations?
A: There are many ways you can word your invitations and you can find suggestions here
However, you don't need to tell me specific wording if you don't want to. I request that you complete a wording details form for me (here) which tells me all of the main details for your wedding; such as your names, date of the wedding, venue locations etc.
I will then create your digital wording artwork for you and send it to you to review. If you have any changes, then we will go back and forth until you are happy with the final layout and you are happy to approve everything for printing.
Q: Do you send me artwork proofs before my invitations and stationery are made?
A: Yes we send proofs of your stationery artwork for your review and approval. You must provide approval sign off before anything is printed to ensure they are correct.
Rest assured we offer unlimited artwork proofs to ensure your invitation and/or stationery is exactly as you want it. Your artwork proof will be drafted to scale and will look exactly as it will be printed - font style, spacing and all.
Q: I like one of your invitations however I would like it to be in another colour, is this possible?
A: Yes this is definitely possible. Please send through your request via email to hello@whitecherryinvitations.com.au with the name of the invitation, web link or screen shot of the design requesting the colours you’d like and I will let you know which elements of the design can be changed to suit your colour theme. There is generally no extra charge to do this, however if there is we will advise you at the time of enquiry.
Q: Do you print in white digital ink?
A: Yes! We have the speciality white ink digital printer to be able to print in white ink! It looks incredible too!
Q: Can I order a sample?
A: Yes absolutely, all invitation samples can be ordered here.
